EFT/TAPPING

WHY DO I LOVE EFT SO MUCH?

 

If you regularly see my posts you’ll have seen me talking about something called EFT (emotional freedom technique) or ‘tapping’. ⁣

Within EFT we can work on literally anything and everything; phobias, unresolved trauma, addictions, pain, limiting beliefs ... the list is endless. ⁣

One of the main reasons I’m so obsessed and passionate about EFT is because I KNOW it works. ⁣

I know because when I initially trained we were asked to tap on an underlying issue that was bothering us. I tapped on a ‘feeling’ I got in my stomach if anyone ever mentioned my abusive ex’s name. I was done with that feeling. Over the years I’d worked on the trauma through talking therapy but this horrible feeling still clung on and I decided it was high time to completely release myself from the past trauma, control and abuse. ⁣

It worked. That’s all I can say. Ever since that day I’ve never been able to recall that nasty feeling in my stomach. It’s gone. I’m free. That person no longer has an ounce of control over me. And it’s liberating.

 

I now tap most days on anything and everything from headaches and period pain to grief and low moods.  ⁣It’s a huge part of my life.

 

I’ve already worked with countless clients using EFT, and the results are simply fantastic.

SO WHAT IS EFT?!
 
"EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Techniques. EFT is a practical self-help method that involves using the fingers to gently tap on the body's acupuncture points along the meridian lines of Chinese medicine. It is often referred to as 'EFT Tapping' or simply as 'Tapping'. The therapeutic effects of this technique are recognized around the world. 
EFT Tapping helps us tune in to the negative patterns that we form around our uncomfortable thoughts, feelings, or troubling memories. We 'tap' on the correct pressure points while bringing the thoughts or emotions into consciousness. The aim is to find relief, relaxation, and promote healing around the emotional or physical issues that hold us back."

CAN I DO THIS ALONE OR DO I NEED A QUALIFIED THERAPIST?
 
The answer is BOTH!
 
I am a fully qualified EFT Practitioner with EFT International and I trained with some of the founding masters in the world, so my training was gold standard.  

I am specially trained and doing ongoing training to work with all sorts of issues including anxiety, depression, phobias and fears. I know how to safely tap on you or with you to uncover the underlying emotions causing issues in your life. I am also a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist Life Coach and trainee Psychotherapist and many of these skills overlap.
 
But the wonderful thing about EFT is - after some sessions with me, you'll be confident enough to tap on yourself at home in between our sessions. 
 
I currently offer EFT sessions over Zoom only (due to the Covid-19 pandemic). It works brilliantly over Zoom from the comfort of your own home. Please note I am fully insured. 
 
 
WHAT CAN TAPPING BE USED FOR?
 
What CAN'T it be used for?! Tapping is extremely effective for:

Weight loss
Pain
Grief
Limiting beliefs

IS IT SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN?
